Daniel Ott

Daniel Ott is a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and a Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology (US).

He has more than 18 years of experience working with and in Latin America. Since 2006 he has been dedicated to the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in developing countries, with a special focus on Latin America. Between 2008 and 2013 he was Project Manager of the “Swiss e-Waste Program Latin America”, implemented by Empa. Since 2013, he is the Managing Director Latin America of Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), an integrator of reverse logistics systems, provider of environmental legal compliance services, and facilitator of circularity.

He has worked on several occasions as an independent consultant for international organizations such as UNIDO and is co-founder of the consulting company ecopartner. Since 2018 he is the focal point for Latin America of the StEP (Solving the e-Waste Problem) Initiative and since 2022 he's a member of the Board of Directors of SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International).
